Here Is Love hymn lyrics and Chords. Written by William Rees (1802-1883), Matt Giles, and Vell Rives, the song tells of God’s vast love, like a flood when Jesus’ blood was shed for us.
Here Is Love is a Welsh hymn associated with the Welsh revival of 1904. The revival lasted about a year. It was rather dramatic in Wales and swept across the rest of Britain, other parts of Europe, North American, India, Africa and Latin America.
It is interesting how a search for a classic hymn can lead to a discovery about a revival in Wales in 1904 and the man who started the revival, Evan Roberts. It is a fascinating piece of church history. To know more, try reading of these books:

Here is Love Hymn Lyrics
Lyrics by William Rees, Matt Giles, and Vell Rives and Music by Robert Lowry.
Here is love, vast as the ocean Lovingkindness as the flood When the Prince of life, our ransom Shed for us His precious blood Who His love will not remember Who can cease to sing His praise He can never be forgotten Throughout heaven's eternal days On the mount of crucifixion Fountains opened deep and wide Through the floodgates of God's mercy Flowed a vast and gracious tide Grace and love, like mighty rivers
Poured incessant from above
And heaven's pace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love
