Options Trading

I was introduced to options trading in April 2021 by a friend. At first, I couldn’t wrap my mind around it but am now happy to report that I have picked up the basics. It has been a humbling experience and a lifelong learning endeavour.

My main objectives for trading options are:

Generate some income
Purchase stocks I want at a discount

I keep a log of all my options and stock trades in Google Sheets. Strike prices, risk and reward ratio, win rates, yield percentages, etc. I find this log helpful for review and planning.

I was told that journaling my options trades and reflecting on my trades afterwards will help improve my trading. That is what I am trying to do here.

Financial Peace

I have gone through sufficient financial mistakes to know that I need guidance. I came across Dave Ramsey’s book: Total Money Makeover and found that it shared similar traits with the Singapore Government’s approach to helping citizens secure financial stability.
