i sing hosanna lyrics

I Sing Hosanna lyrics and chords. “I run to You, my hiding place. There I can rest upon Your grace. In quietness, my strength is found. Your tender mercy is my crown”.

Hosanna appears in different old languages. הושיעה־נא, הושיעה נא hôšîʿâ-nā in Hebrew, ὡσαννά, ܐܘܿܫܲܥܢܵܐ (ʾōshaʿnā) in Aramaic, hōsanná in Greek, osanna in Latin, and in English.

In the Old Testament, hosanna is used only in verses such as “help” or “save, I pray”

Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh! Yahweh, we beg you, send prosperity now.

Psalm 118:25 WEB

It became a shout of jubilation in the gospels. Why? Because the One who save or help is here.

With Christ, hosanna transforms from a cry of help to a cry of victory. To me, it is a word that want to leap out of my mouth with a shout knowing that righteousness is my life’s theme.

I Sing Hosanna Lyrics

Words & music by Karen Lim. Copyright 2010 New Creation Church, Singapore

I choose to look to You, my Lord
You rescued me, lifted me up
When I am weak then I am strong
I cast my cares on You alone

I sing hosanna, I sing hosanna
Your selfless love reversed my shame
I sing hosanna, I sing hosanna
Salvation's gift is mine to claim

With joy I hope in You, my King
Redemption's song is mine to sing
Your precious blood
Has made me clean

Now righteousness is my life's theme
I run to You, my hiding place
There I can rest upon Your grace
In quietness my strength is found
Your tender mercy is my crown

We have come to the end of this post. I hope you have found what you are seeking. If not, keep looking. For Jesus said,

“I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

Luke 11:9-10 WEB

For God so loved you, He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for you. You are precious to Him.
