Introduction
Man Hunter is a Chinese television movie series produced by China between 2014 and 2017. It is about a man hunter 侠捕 in the Ming Dynasty. Man hunters are government officials with good martial skills, responsible for catching criminals. A little like U.S. Marshals, I guess.
There are many Internet movies with a similar theme, but this series is of better quality. There are 4 movies in total. The villains are usually in plain sight although there are a couple of small twists in the plots to make the stories more interesting.
There are 2 actors portraying the main lead. The first actor only appeared in the 2014 movie. The second actor is younger and made the next 3 movies within the same year.
I’m sorry to say that English subtitles are not available. It is possible to use YouTube’s auto-caption function, but it is not ideal.
