The O Praise the Name Anastasis lyrics depict what happened at Calvary and on the Cross. Jesus’ resurrection is our hope.
I heard this song in church and was immediately drawn to it. I was intrigued by the word “Anástasis” in the title and so I looked it up.
It is Greek for resurrection.
Jesus’ resurrection gave us hope for the future, hope despite our failings.
I saw Christian leaders failed publicly and it dismayed me. But when I turned my eyes to Jesus (like in the lyrics: cast my mind to Calvary), all these do not seem to matter. When I reflect on the story of the Cross, of resurrection, I realised it is a rescue mission for failed people. Praise the name of the One who came to save.
O Praise The Name Anastasis Lyrics
VERSE 1: I cast my mind to Calvary Where Jesus bled and died for me I see His wounds His hands His feet My Saviour on that cursed tree VERSE 2: His body bound and drenched in tears They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb The entrance sealed by heavy stone Messiah still and all alone CHORUS: O praise the Name of the Lord our God O praise His Name forevermore For endless days we will sing Your praise Oh Lord oh Lord our God VERSE 3: And then on the third at break of dawn The Son of heaven rose again O trampled death where is your sting The angels roar for Christ the King VERSE 4: He shall return in robes of white The blazing sun shall pierce the night And I will rise among the saints My gaze transfixed on Jesus face

O Praise The Name Anastasis Chinese Lyrics
We have come to the end of this post. I hope you have found what you are seeking. If not, keep looking. For Jesus said,
9 “I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Luke 11:9-10 WEB
For God so loved you, He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for you. You are precious to Him.
