Crack the Code with Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes in 11 Films

Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes

Dive into the world of the great detective with Douglas Wilmer as Sherlock Holmes in the classic 1965-1968 BBC television series.

While the full series isn’t available on Youtube, I managed to track down 11 out of the original 13 episodes on Dailymotion. The remaining 2 episodes are lost due to a practice of deleting old recording and a lack of proper archiving back then.

Though Douglas Wilmer stepped down after the first series, Peter Cushing took the reins for the second season, offering another take on the iconic detective.
